DAY01 ARRIVE BANGALORE

On Arrival at Bangalore Airport, Welcome meet and transfer to Hotel Check in and rest & relax South India's most alive city is Bangalore., and the capital city of Karnataka, A bustling city today, Bangalore often reminisces about its days as a sleepy cantonment area of the British - tree lined avenues with quaint sounding names like Richmond Town and Victoria Layout hint that the city does get sentimental about its past. DAY02 BANGALORE

After breakfast proceed for Bangalore sightseeing tour: Now Bangalore is known for its thriving industry and as an IT hotbed. DAY03 BANGALORE – MYSORE 

After Breakfast proceeds to Mysore and en route visit Srirangapatana.The Kingdom of Mysore was ruled by the Wodeyar dynasty, except for a brief and illustrious period in the late 18th century when Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan were the distinguished rulers. Patrons of art and culture, the Wodeyars contributed significantly to the cultural growth of the city. The cultural ambience and achievements of Mysore earned it the sobriquet Cultural capital of Karnataka.Srirangapatana was the scene of the last and decisive battle fought between Tipu Sultan and a combined force of 50,000 men provided equally by the Nizam of Hyderabad and the East India Company under the overall command of General George Harris. This battle was the last engagement of the Fourth Anglo-Mysore War. The Battle of Seringapatam, 1799, was truly momentous in its historic effects. At the battle's climax, Tipu Sultan was killed within the fort of Seringapatam, betrayed by one of his own confidants; the spot where he ultimately fell is marked by a memorial. DAY04 MYSORE 

After Breakfast proceed to sightseeing tour of Mysore. Mysore is called the City of Palaces because of several ornate examples in the city. Among the most notable are Amba Vilas, popularly known as Mysore Palace; Jaganmohana Palace, which also serves as an art gallery; Rajendra Vilas, also known as the summer palace; Lalitha Mahal, which has been converted into a hotel; and Jayalakshmi Vilas. The main palace of Mysore was burned down in 1897, and the present-day structure was built on the same site. Amba Vilas palace exhibits an Indo-Saracenic style of architecture on the outside, but a distinctly Hoysala style in the interior.Even though the Government of Karnataka maintains the Mysore palace, a small portion has been allocated for the erstwhile Royal family to live in. The Jayalakshmi Vilas Mansion was constructed by Sri Chamaraja Wodeyar for his daughter Jayalakshammanni. It is now a museum dedicated to folk culture and artifacts of the royal family. DAY05 MYSORE - SOMNATHPUR - MYSORE

After Breakfast proceed to Somnathpur Temple and en route visit Nandhi Hill Temple. Somanathapur is a town located 35 km from the historic Mysore city. Somanathapura is famous for the Chennakesava Temple built by Soma, a Dandanayaka (commander) in 1268 CE under Hoysala Empire King Narasimha III, when the Hoysalas were the major power in South India.The Keshava temple is one of the finest and most complete examples of Hoysala architecture and is in a very well preserved condition. The temple is in the care of the Archeological Survey of India as a protected heritage site. And later visit the biggest and colourful flower/fruits market in South India. Overnight stay at mysore.

DAY06 MYSORE-OOTY

After breakfast proceed for Ooty en route visiting Bandipur And Mudumalai Wild Life Sanctuary. Ooty or Udhagamandalam, The "Queen of hill station" is the capital of Nilgiri district. It is one of the best tourist resorts. Nilgiris is called as "Blue Mountains".The name Nila, we know to have been used over 800 years ago since,the King of the Hoysalas Vishnu Vardhana, who ruled from 1104 to 1141 A.D. seized the Nilgiris Plateau. His general Ponisia recorded this fact in 1117 A.D. with mention of Todas. The name Nilgiri was due to the blue haze which envelopes the range with most distant hills of considerable size. This Sanctuaries Bandipur And Mudhumalai lies at an elevation of 1140 mts in the junction point of Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu and extends over and area of 321 sq.kms. Avariety of habitats ranging from tropical ever green forest, moist teak forest, secondary grass lands and swamps are found. Panther, Sambar,spotted Deer, Barking Deer, Wild boar,Porcupine etc. The avifauna is varied with Minivets. Hornbills, Fairy Blue Birds, Jungle Fowls etc. The Reptilions are represented by Python,Monitor Lizard,Flying Lizad etc.then drive to Ooty check in at hotel.late Afternoon sightseeing tour of ooty for visit  Ooty Lake, Botanical Garden, Rose Garden etc. Ooty Lake is an artificial lake built by John Sullivan between 1823 & 1825. Situated amidst beautiful valleys, lake is a major landmark in the town Botanical Garden was laid out in 1847 and is presently maintained by the government of Tamil Nadu. This is one of the top tourist places to visit in Ooty and also one of the best botanical gardens in India. The original purpose of the Botanical Gardens was to promote and study the various flora in and around Nilgiris. After visit return back to hotel. Overnight stay at ooty.

DAY07 OOTY – COONOOR

After Breakfast proceed for a Toy Train Journey  to Coonoor. Coonoor is a taluk and a municipality in the Nilgiris district in the state of Tamil Nadu. It is a beautiful hill station and known for its production of Nilgiri tea. At an altitude of 6,000 feet above sea level, Coonoor is famous for its verdant environs and for a variety of wildflowers and birds. It is the second largest hill station in the Nilgiri hills after Ooty. The Nilgiri Mountain Railway (Toy Train) is one of the oldest mountain railways in India. The train ride in the midst of the Nilgiris, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an unforgettable travel experience. The major attraction of Coonoor is Sim's Park, a well-maintained Botanical Garden that houses several varieties of plants found missing in the other Hill Stations. It is spread over 12 hectares. Viewpoints and picnic spots around Coonoor include Lambs Rock, Dolphins Nose, St. Catherine Falls, Law's fall, etc.after visit return back to hotel. Overnight stay at ooty.

DAY08 OOTY - COCHIN

After Breakfast proceed to Cochin and on arrival check in hotel.Heralded as the Queen of the Arabian Sea, Kochi was an important spice trading centre on the west coast of India from the 14th century. Occupied by the Portuguese Empire in 1503, Kochi was the first of the European colonies in colonial India. It remained the main seat of Portuguese India until 1530, when Goa was chosen instead. The city was later occupied by the Dutch and the British, with the Kingdom of Cochin becoming a princely state. Overnight stay at Cochi.

DAY09 COCHIN

After breakfast proceed  for the sightseeing tour which is the old part of Cochin by visiting Mattancherry and visit the oldest Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Fridays Saturdays & All the Jewish holidays) in India, built in 1568; it was destroyed by the Portuguese and rebuilt by the Dutch a century later. You will also visit The Dutch Palace (Closed on Fridays) ‐ which was built in 1555 Continue your drive to Chinese fishing nets. The cantilevered fishing nets line the entrance to the harbor mouth. Your next stop will be St. Francis Church, originally named after Santo Antonio and dedicated to him as the Patron Saint of Portugal; St. Francis Church is the first church to have been in the new European influenced tradition. Originally a wooden building was replaced by the present stone building. Vasco De Gamma died on the site in 1524. Overnight stay at Cochi.

DAY10 COCHIN

After breakfast proceed for visit Thripunithura Temple and Hill Palace Which is the Old Capital Town and Summer palace of the Kings Period and also visit The New city of Cochin for Shopping. Overnight stay at Cochi.

DAY11 COCHIN – KUMARAKOM

Kumarakom is a popular tourism destination located near the city of Kottayam, in Kerala, India, famous for its backwater tourism.It is set in the backdrop of the Vembanad Lake which is the largest freshwater lake in the state of Kerala  , Evening Sun Set Cruise on backwaters. Overnight stay at kumarakom.

DAY12 KUMARAKOM

DAY13 KUMARAKOM – ALLEPPEY

After Breakfast drive to Alleppey On arrival check in to a traditional Kettuvallam House Boat for cruises and overnight stay. Houseboats in Kerala are huge, slow-moving barges used for leisure trips. They are a reworked model of Kettuvallams, Kettu means "tied with ropes", and vallammeans "boat"), which, in earlier times,used carry rice and spices. The popularity of Kettuvallams has returned in the function as major tourist attractions.Such a houseboat is about 60 to 70 feet (18 to 21 m) long and about 15 feet (4.6 m) wide at the middle. The hull is made of wooden planks that are held together by ropes of coconut fiber; the usual wood is 'Anjili'. The roof is made of bamboo poles and palm leave. Overnight stay at Houseboat.

DAY14 ALLEPPEY- KOVALAM

After Breakfast disembark from House boat and then drive to Kovalam. On arrival, check in a Beach Resort.Overnight stay at kovalam.

DAY15 KOVALAM- KANYAKUMARI- KOVALAM DAY RETURN EXCURSSION

After breakfast proceed for Kanyakumari enroot visit Sucheenram Temple, Padmanabhapuram Palace. Padmanabhapuram Palace: Aproxminate 53 Kms from Trivandrum on Trivandrum - Kanyakumari road), Padmanabhapuram is an ancient historical town surrounded by a fort with an area of 187 acres. The ancient capital of Travancore might be constructed before AD 1601. The palace with an area of seven acres, is situated in the very centre on the Padmanabhapuram Fort, amidst hills, dales and rivers. The fort which was built with mud originally was dismantled and reconstructed with granite by Maharaja Marthanda Varma. The height of the walls varies from 15 ft to 24 ft according to the inclination of the ground.

Suchindram Temple : Suchindram is a holy place located on the bank of the river Pazhayar. It is famous for the temple dedicated to Sri Sthanumalayan. The word denotes Siva, Vishnu and Brahma as Sthanu represents Siva, Mal represents Vishnu while Ayan represents Brhamma, in 'One Form'. Suchindrum means the place where Indra attained 'Suchi' i.e., purification. The Sthalapurana has it that Indra suffered a curse from sage Gowthama and offered worship to Lord Shiva at this place. Relieving Indra of his curse, Lord Shiva granted him of his wish that the place where he attained purification should henceforth be called 'Suchindrum'. After visit and proceed Kanyakumari

Kanyakumari is a coastal town in Tamil Nadu and a famous pilgrimage and tourist place. Located at the southernmost tip of the Indian Peninsula, it is also called Cape Comorin.Kanyakumari has been a great centre for art and religion for centuries. It was also an area of great trade and commerce. It was ruled by Cholas, Pandyas and Nayaks. Later on, Kanyakumari came under the rule of the Venad dynasty and its capital was located at Padmanabhapuram. In spite of the troubles encountered in the southern border of Venad, Marthanda Varma expanded the kingdom northwards to Aluva and established the kingdom of Travancore. Swami Vivekananda is said to have been lived here for a while and meditated. It is situated at the confluence of Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean. This place offers marvelous Sunset and Sunrise views. It is the only place in India where one can enjoy the unique spectacle of Sunset and Moonrise simultaneously on full moon days. The main attractions in Kanyakumari are the Kumari Amman Temple, The Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Gandhi Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue and Beach. Visit and return back to Kovalam. DAY16 KOVALAM DAY AT LEISURE

DAY17 DEPARTURE KOVALAM TO TRIVANDRUM AIRPORT
